KuzSTU and the Republic of Uzbekistan expand their cooperation

Kuzbass State Technical University received guests from the Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk Timur Rakhmanov and a representative of the Agency for External Labor Migration of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk Sherzojon Polvonov arrived at the university on a working visit. They discussed with the KuzSTU management the areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, and also met with students from the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Alexei Yakovlev, Rector of KuzSTU, told about the university and presented the main areas of work. The parties have found promising vectors of cooperation. For example, the partners will be more closely involved in the organization of internships in the Republic for the students from Uzbekistan: the university will collect students' preferences and, together with the consulate, they will help students demonstrate their knowledge in the workplace as comfortably and productively as possible. The same close attention will be paid to the employment of graduates, and in general it is planned to increase the number of admissions of foreign students. In addition, the university is ready to jointly develop scientific projects in key areas for the Republic of Uzbekistan.
