The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum started in St. Petersburg on June 15 and will end on June 18

Global changes are taking place in the world. Times change and new opportunities emerge. The forum is an excellent opportunity for the Kuzbass Polytechnic University to find new partners for the development and effective use of the scientific, technical, innovative and educational potentials of the university, the development of high technologies and scientific and technical products, - said Rector Alexei Yakovlev.

The Rector of the Kuzbass Polytechnic University took part in a number of sections and panel discussions, including "Green Energy: challenges of the new time", "New strategy for the development of SMEs: challenges, opportunities, solutions", "Internationalization of Russian higher education in modern conditions", "International trade in carbon units: Russian potential", "How to provide the Russian economy with qualified personnel?", and others.

The 25th anniversary edition of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place in St. Petersburg from 15 to 18 June. Its main theme is "New World - New Opportunities". More than 500 speakers will address the event. Among the participants there are representatives of the Government and Central Bank of Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Venezuela, Egypt, heads of international organizations, representatives of business associations from Italy, Canada, the USA, France, members of the scientific and cultural communities of Russia, China, India, Cuba, as well as heads of Russian and foreign companies.
