Rector of KuzSTU Alexey Yakovlev and Director of Institute of Chemical, Oil and Gas Technologies Victor Tikhonov on April 1 held official meetings with the heads of Tashkent State Technical University. Tashkent State Technical University is a long-standing partner of KuzSTU: in February 2024 diplomas of mining engineers and surveyors were awarded in Kuzbass Polytechnic to young Uzbekistan citizens – the first graduates of the international interuniversity program "2+3".
At the meeting the parties discussed further prospects of the joint program "Mining Engineering" and "Surveying", as well as joint scientific directions.
The work of the delegation continued in Navoi State University of Mining and Technologies. A round table was held at the Department of Chemical Technology of Navoi State University of Mining and Technologies, where the scientists constructively discussed the issues of research partnership. The parties also signed an agreement on comprehensive scientific and educational cooperation.
