Kuzbass Polytechnic Starts Cooperation with the Largest Russian Developer of Software Products for Digitalization of Industry

On September 15, Tsifra Group of Companies and T.F. Gorbachev Kuzbass State Technical University signed an agreement to establish and develop partnership relations. The parties will cooperate on educational, scientific and innovative potential. Dmitry Vladimirov, a member of Board of Directors, signed the agreement on behalf of Tsifra Group of Companies, and Alexey Yakovlev, Rector of KuzSTU, signed it on behalf of Kuzbass State Technical University.

Leading specialists of Tsifra Group of Companies are expected to participate in the educational process at all levels: bachelor's, specialist, master's, postgraduate, additional professional programs of advanced training and professional retraining. They will be able to act as supervisors and reviewers of graduate qualification works and will be involved in attestation - as members of state examination commissions.

Cooperation with the university community in the field of promotion and development of digital technologies is one of the priorities of Tsifra Group of Companies. The complex of digital laboratories "Intellectual Mining Production" and "Intellectual Mining Technology" organized by Tsifra Group of Companies in cooperation with BELAZ at the St. Petersburg Mining University is successfully functioning. Tsifra Group of Companies is also developing cooperation with the MISIS University of Science and Technology in Moscow. Cooperation with KuzSTU opens a new stage in the work with leading Russian universities, aimed at the implementation of scientific and applied projects in the field of design, development and implementation of modern import-substituting digital technologies in the mining and metallurgical industry, implementation of joint educational programs and training of world-class specialists, – said Sergey Emelchenkov, General Director of Tsifra Group of Companies.

The parties agreed to jointly develop professional educational programs and industry qualification requirements for specialists and professional standards. The plan is to organize internships for students on the basis of the Tsifra Group of Companies. Students will have an opportunity to get a closer look at the activities of the leader of the Russian market of industrial digitalization. Besides, the prospects of selecting specialists for their future employment were outlined. As a format of joint activities, career guidance events were also noted: job fairs, career days, round tables, presentations.

Kuzbass State Technical University holds leading positions in training engineering personnel for the Russian coal industry, constantly improving educational content and developing new training formats. The agreement stipulates the creation of a training room for operators of autonomous and remote-controlled equipment. The intention to use modern methods and innovative educational technologies was set.

Also Tsifra Group of Companies and KuzSTU plan to cooperate in the scientific, technical and technological sphere: to work with the world's leading scientific and educational centers and enterprises in areas of mutual interest, to conduct joint research, development, experimental design and experimental-technological work, to prepare joint projects for international and Russian scientific funds, to attract leading foreign scientists to conduct research and give lectures. The possibility of opening a scientific center on the basis of KuzSTU is under consideration.
