Employees of Kuzbass State Technical University Anastasia Shtotskaya and Alexey Andryushkov visited the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. The scientists took part in the annual exhibition "Education in Russia" - 2023, where representatives of 33 universities from different cities of the country presented their educational programs to high school students, conducted trial tests in various specialties and held intellectual games.
The exhibition was organized by the Moscow Classics Foundation with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, the Russian World Public Association and the Chaika Public Association. According to Olga Frolova, president of the Moscow Classics Foundation, more than 1,000 10th and 11th graders visited the exhibition opening in Bishkek and Kara-Balta.
“The exhibition "Education in Russia" is a great chance to tell applicants about the opportunities that KuzSTU offers to its students. During communication with school students we managed to tell them about the areas of training and specialties, trained in Kuzbass Polytechnic University, as well as to consult those who are planning to apply to our university. Future applicants learned about the programs of scholarship support, tuition fees at our university and the number of budgetary places. Of course, we also told the students about the artistic life at Kuzbass Polytechnic University, free vacation at the ski resort "Sheregesh" and other opportunities, which are open to students of Kuzbass Polytechnic University”, – says Anastasia Shtotskaya.
Professionalism of KuzSTU professors was also noted by the organizers of the event. They proposed to continue cooperation in the framework of educational and career guidance projects.
