A New Stage of Cooperation Between Kuzbass Polytechnic University and Chinese Universities

On April 19, as part of the annual XV All-Russian scientific-practical conference of young scientists with international participation "Young Russia" the first section with representatives of the People's Republic of China on "Youth: a new driving force for the promotion of scientific and technological innovation in China and Russia" was held in a remote mode. The event was organized by Kuzbass State Technical University together with Dunhua University.

Director of the Institute of Costume and Art Design of Dunhua University, Professor Li Jun highly appreciated the work of the international conference. He invited the young scientists of Kuzbass State Technical University to visit China, and offered to further scientific cooperation. Chinese partners reported on the development of the field of industrial design at their university. For example, Li Jin told about the annual event "Dunhua Fashion Week", which is held by the Institute of Costume and Art Design since 2002. It was also possible to discuss academic exchange opportunities for Russian and Chinese students.

Professor Li Fashe, head of the educational and methodical department of Kunming University of Science and Technology, which has been a partner of our university for a long time, told about the joint work of Kuzbass Polytechnic University and the Chinese university in the field of materials science. And also talked about the new platform for attracting academics and experts of KuzSTU for the exchange.

Finally, we sincerely invite all directors, scientists, and students to visit Kunming University for an exchange of experience and studying.”, – says Li Fashe.

A total of 39 Chinese students who presented reports in English in 4 professional areas: medical-industrial design, traditional design capabilities through intelligent technology, innovative design, materials science and chemical engineering participated in the conference.
