Kuzbass Polytechnic University is a territory of sports and a healthy lifestyle. There are numerous clubs and sections under the guidance of experienced coaches in such sport activities as: badminton, basketball, volleyball, mini-football, athletics, powerlifting, table tennis, chess, cross-country skiing and swimming.
More than 100 mass sports events are held annually at the university for students and university staff, including: the traditional KuzSTU Spartakiad among the teams of institutes, which includes 12 sports, the campus Spartakiad (5 sports), sports festivals.
The combined teams of the university take part in the All-Russian Universiade, championships and championships of the city, region and country.
